Which Massage Retreat & Spa massage is right for you?

Swedish Massage
Available in 60 or 90-minute sessions*
Swedish massage involves the use of hands, forearms or elbows to manipulate the superficial layers of the muscles to improve mental and physical health. Active or passive movement of the joints may also be part of the massage. The benefits of Swedish massage include increased blood circulation, mental and physical relaxation, decreased stress and muscle tension, and improved range of motion.

Deep Tissue Massage
Available in 60 or 90-minute sessions*
Deep Tissue massage is directed at the fascia, muscles and tissues located much deeper beneath the skin. While this type of massage is related to Swedish massage, it also utilizes adapted strokes and techniques to access those deeper tissues to release tension and adhesions. This popular massage can be more intense than a Swedish Massage and the amount of pressure applied, and your corresponding level of comfort should be discussed by you and your therapist before and during the session.

Hot Stone Massage
90-minute session only*
Hot stone massage is a type of massage therapy that involves the use of smooth, heated stones. The massage therapist places the hot stones on specific points on your body and may also hold the stones while giving the massage. The localized heat and weight of the stones warm and relax muscles, allowing the massage therapist to apply deeper pressure to those areas without causing discomfort.

Sports Massage
Available in 60 or 90-minute sessions*
Sports massage is a form of bodywork geared toward participants in athletics. It is used to help prevent injuries, to prepare the body for athletic activity and maintain it in optimal condition, and to help athletes recover from workouts and injuries.

Pre-& Post Natal Massage
Available in 60 or 90-minute sessions*
Pre & Post Natal Massage soothes nerves and relieves strained back and leg muscles. Your massage helps to stimulate soft tissue to reduce edema or swelling of the joints during pregnancy. It is especially beneficial in the second and third trimesters when the extra weight can put a strain on your low back, sciatic nerve and legs. Your therapist will make sure your body gets the cushioning and support it needs using pillows and special bolstering techniques.

Not recommended in the first trimester or with certain high-risk pregnancies.

Custom Massage
Available in 60 or 90-minute sessions*
Your therapist will consult with you prior to your session to create a customized massage that will incorporate a several techniques while varying applied pressure in order to accommodate your specific needs and desired areas of focus.

Couples Massage
Available in 60 or 90-minute sessions*
Performed by two therapists at the same time, tables are positioned face to face so that the couple can enjoy the experience together.
